She’ll battle Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Los Americanos are shown arriving. Rey Mysterio, Penta, and Dragon Lee are talking backstage. They’ll battle “Big” Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory.

We go live into the SSE Arena in Belfast, Ireland, to see a big fireworks display.


In-Ring: Gunther, AJ Styles

“The Ring General” Gunther heads to the ring.

Last week on Raw, replays show that Gunther tapped out to AJ Styles’ Calf Crusher, but the referee missed it. Gunther would go on to defeat AJ Styles.

The crowd gives Gunther a mixed reaction and chants, “You tapped out.” Gunther tells them to calm down. AJ Styles was so concentrated on getting him to tap out that he forgot he was in the ring with the best wrestler of all time. He’s the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion, a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, put Goldberg to sleep in his final match, and made John Cena tap out in his final match. Gunther’s future is very bright, and he declares himself for the Royal Rumble. As the man who lasted 1:11:40…

AJ Styles makes his way to the ring. The crowd is fired up to see him and chants his name as he stands in the ring with Gunther. Styles says he knows Gunther wants to move on, but he doesn’t. Styles wants a rematch at the Royal Rumble. The crowd cheers. Gunther says he’s going to win the Royal Rumble and isn’t planning on pulling double duty. Gunther’s answer is no. Gunther goes to leave, so Styles says, “It sounds like you’re scared.” Gunther turns around and looks confused as the crowd chants, “You tapped out.” Styles says Gunther’s hand was raised, but he didn’t beat him. Styles beat himself when he showed Gunther mercy. Styles should have ripped his leg off and beaten him with the bloody end. Gunther tapped out like a little bitch. The crowd roars.

Gunther is incensed. Styles tells him to just admit he’s scared so they can move on. A “little bitch” chant picks up. Gunther says he proved he’s a smarter, better wrestler than Styles. There is no incentive to wrestle Styles again. Gunther’s answer remains no. Gunther goes to leave, but he stops when the “little bitch” chant picks up again. Gunther says there might be something Styles can do… Styles shouts, “Name it!” The crowd sings, “Oh, Gunther’s a wanker.” Gunther says when he talks, everyone should shut up and listen. Styles demands Gunther name his request. Gunther says if Styles wants a rematch at the Royal Rumble, he wants his career on the line. Gunther chuckles and tells Styles to think about whether that’s a hill worth dying on. Gunther wants Styles’ answer by the end of the night… unless Styles is a little scared. Gunther walks off, and Styles looks conflicted.


Backstage: Maxxine Dupri, Natalya

Maxxine Dupri is warming up when Natalya approaches her. Natalya says she’s here to make sure what happened two weeks ago with Becky Lynch doesn’t happen again. Dupri says she’s so ready for tonight and will see her out there. Natalya smiles as Dupri walks away.

Replay: Two weeks ago on the Stranger Things edition of Raw, Becky Lynch held the ropes to beat Maxxine Dupri to win back the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

The bell rings, and they circle the ring before locking up. Lynch hits a back heel trip and taunts the crowd. Lynch kicks Dupri and bounces her in the corner. Lynch bounces her off another corner and stomps her before talking some trash. Dupri charges out and hits a Lou Thesz Press, followed by some right hands. Lynch gets out of a German Suplex, but Dupri trips her and goes for an Ankle Lock. Lynch gets out, so Dupri dropkicks her out of the ring. Dupri hits a baseball slide before connecting with a cannonball off the apron. Dupri gets Lynch on the apron and climbs the ring post on the other side. Dupri pulls Lynch up, but Lynch counters with a neckbreaker on the turnbuckle bracket.

Back from the break, Dupri is getting fired up. Dupri hits a trio of clotheslines, followed by a knee to the side of the head. Dupri avalanches her in the corner, stomps her, and hits a springboard kick. Dupri hits a fisherman’s suplex, followed by a kip-up. Dupri pulls the straps down and hits a step-up leg drop for a two-count. Lynch kicks and elbows Dupri away before avoiding a bicycle kick. Lynch takes her down for a two-count.

Lynch goes for a Manhandle Slam, but Dupri counters with a roll-up for a two-count. Lynch rolls her up for a two-count. Lynch slams her down and goes for an armbar, but Dupri gets out and rolls her up for a two-count. Lynch quickly applies the Dis-Arm-Her, but Dupri gets to the ropes. Dupri soon applies the Ankle Lock. Lynch twists out and rolls her up for a two-count. Lynch ducks a heel kick, but Dupri catches her on the rebound for a two-count. Dupri heads to the top rope, but Lynch cuts her off. Lynch hits a superplex, followed by a spike DDT for a near fall.

Lynch furiously punches away at Dupri before taking off the top turnbuckle pad. Dupri rolls her up for a two-count. Dupri goes to bounce her into the exposed turnbuckle, but Lynch blocks it. Dupri hits a German Suplex before going to the top rope. Dupri hits a crossbody block, but Lynch rolls through for a near fall. Lynch goes for a Manhandle Slam, but Dupri counters with a roll-up into the Ankle Lock. Lynch rolls out and nearly drives Dupri into the exposed turnbuckle. Dupri sidesteps an avalanche, and Lynch hits the exposed turnbuckle. Dupri hits a heel kick and covers. 1… 2… Natalya puts Lynch’s foot on the bottom rope to break the pin. Dupri is stunned and asks why. Lynch hits Dupri with the Manhandle Slam for the win.

Winner: Becky Lynch via Pinfall to retain the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

Natalya attacks Maxxine Dupri from behind, punching her repeatedly. Natalya says, “You’re never going to learn.” Natalya slaps her in the face, and Dupri shoves her back. Natalya hits a clothesline and stands over Dupri as the crowd boos. Natalya then locks her in the Sharpshooter, and Dupri screams in pain before tapping out. Natalya releases the hold and punches away at Dupri. Referee Danilo Anfibio pulls her off. The crowd is pretty silent.


Video: Bron Breakker, Adam Pearce, The Vision

Video:Last Monday on Raw, Bron Breakker got involved in the main event after Adam Pearce warned him not to. Breakker grabbed Pearce and threatened to kill him. Pearce suspended him indefinitely. Paul Heyman says Pearce put his hands on him first.


Backstage: Adam Pearce, AJ Styles, Paul Heyman

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce is talking with AJ Styles. Just because Gunther made the challenge doesn’t mean he has to take it. Styles says he’s going to call his wife. Paul Heyman walks up to Pearce and asks about his week. Pearce said he had a great week, which confuses Heyman. Pearce says Bron Breakker is suspended, so it’s a great week, and they’re in Belfast. Heyman asks why they’re not in London. Pearce tells Heyman to tell his guys to be on their best behavior because he’ll be at ringside. Heyman is not happy.

Video: World Heavyweight Championship match with CM Punk defending against Finn Bálor later tonight.

Tonight’s main event will see the World Heavyweight Championship defended as CM Punk puts the title on the line against Ireland’s own Finn Bálor.


Backstage: Judgement Day

Finn Bálor is backstage with Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez. Raquel Rodriguez walks in and says Stephanie Vaquer is still not cleared, but once she is, she’ll lose the title to Big Sexy. Liv Morgan says 2026 is the year of Judgment Day. Morgan says Rodriguez and Bálor will be World Champions. As for Perez, she at first thought she was a liar, but now she loves her. Bálor says they’re in Ireland, and he’s not leaving without the title.


Ringside: Jey Uso

World Tag Team Champion “Main Event” Jey Uso is in the arena concourse. Jimmy Uso is not there. Uso makes his “YEET” entrance, and the crowd is fired up. Uso has a microphone and says he is now in their city. Last week, he put the whole Tag Team Division on notice. Now, he’s here in Belfast to let everyone know he’s declaring his spot in this year’s Royal Rumble. Uso will be a back-to-back Royal Rumble winner. Uso says this is a warning shot. YEET!


Backstage: Adam Pearce, The New Day

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce is walking backstage when he’s confronted by the New Day and Grayson Waller. They want a title match against the Usos. Pearce gives them an opportunity… in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Match next week. The winners will be the No. 1 Contenders for the World Tag Team Championship. The New Day is furious.

The Vision heads to the ring alongside WWE Hall of Famer “The Oracle” Paul Heyman. We’ll have a 6-Man Tag Team Match next …

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce is seated at ringside.

Dragon Lee will start the match against Austin Theory. Lee circles the ring, and they lock up. Theory powers him to the corner and backs up. Theory grabs a waistlock, but Lee rolls him up for a one-count. Lee avoids a boot and chops him. Theory comes back with a back elbow and talks some trash. Logan Paul and Penta tag in. Paul chuckles at Penta. Paul mocks Penta’s strut, so Penta shows him how it’s done. Paul kicks and clubs Penta down. Paul sends Penta into the ropes, but he lowers his head and eats a kick. Penta fired back with a reverse sling blade. Paul quickly boots him back and hits a blockbuster. Paul applies a neck vice. Penta reverses a whip and superkicks him before doing his taunt. Penta goes for a springboard, but Paul uppercuts him out of mid-air.

“Big” Bronson Reed tags in against Rey Mysterio, who has been a giant killer in his career. Reed shoves Mysterio. Mysterio slides through the legs and kicks him in the head. Reed catches him, but Mysterio gets out and goes for a wheelbarrow bulldog. Reed counters that with a back suplex. Theory tags in and clotheslines Mysterio in the corner. Paul tags in and hits Mysterio with a running uppercut. Reed enters the match. Paul and Theory whip Reed into Mysterio for a big avalanche. Theory punches Mysterio in the corner and catches him attempting a slingshot. Mysterio slides off and tags Penta in. Penta kicks Theory before Lee tags in. Mysterio hits a basement dropkick on Theory. Penta hits a handstand dropkick before Lee hits a basement dropkick. The three great luchadores get The Vision out of the ring and hit stereo planchas!

Back from the break, Theory is taking it to Lee before hitting a fallaway slam. The crowd is singing something, and Paul Heyman doesn’t look happy. Reed tags in and headbutts Lee down. Lee reaches for a tag, but Reed holds him back. Lee gets out of a clothesline and comically attempts a powerbomb. Reed easily gets out as he can’t be lifted and goes for a cannonball, but Lee moves. Reed quickly knocks Mysterio and Penta off the apron before hitting Lee with a powerslam. 1… 2… Mysterio and Penta break it up. Reed goes for a senton splash, but Lee moves. Paul tags in and pulls Lee back. Lee takes Paul down, so Theory tags in. Theory takes it to Lee and hits a front suplex onto the top rope. Lee springboards off the ropes and hits a head-scissor takeover.

Mysterio tags in and dropkicks Theory in the knee. Mysterio hits a head-scissor takeover before shouldering him in the corner. Mysterio punches Theory in the corner ten times before knocking him into the middle ropes. Theory blocks a 619 and goes for an Alabama Slam. Penta blind tags in and kicks away at Theory. Penta hits a SCARY Penta Driver on Theory. 1… 2… Reed breaks it up. Lee knees Reeed in the head. Paul turns Lee inside out with a clothesline. Mysterio pulls Paul over the top rope with a head-scissor. Mysterio goes for a baseball slide splash, but Paul catches him, performs a military press, and drops him onto the barricade. Paul is fired up. Lee and Penta hit Paul with a stereo baseball slide. Reed goes for the Jagged Edge, but Penta and Lee pepper him with superkicks. Lee hits Reed with a somersault senton.

In the ring, Penta goes for a Mexican Destroyer on Theory, but Theory elbows him. Theory hits an ushigoroshi for a near fall. Paul Heyman and Adam Pearce get on the apron and begin arguing. Logan Paul gives Austin Theory some brass knuckles. The referee catches him, and Adam Pearce takes them away. Heyman says Pearce put his hands on his guy again. They argue. As this happens, Mysterio grabs the brass knuckles and punches Theory. Paul sees this, but the referee holds him back. Penta superkicks Paul before hitting Theory with a Mexican Destroyer for the win.

Winner: Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, & Penta via Pinfall.


Backstage: CM Punk

Jackie Redmond is backstage with World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. How will he leave as a fighting champion and not just a fighter? Punk says he’s playing an away game against Finn Bálor. This is the type of pressure he loves as a fighting champion.

A frustrated Raw General Manager Adam Pearce is walking backstage when Paul Heyman screams for him to stop. Heyman says Pearce was a great General Manager and will be missed when he’s gone. Pearce asks if he’s threatening him. Heyman says he wouldn’t do that, but Pearce should take the phone call. Pearce’s phone rings, and he doesn’t look happy as he answers.


In-Ring: Rhiyo, Judgement Day

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY head to the ring. They’ll face Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez with the titles on the line this weekend on Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Ripley welcomes Belfast to “Monday Night Rh-IYO.” In a few nights, they’ll defend their titles against Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez at Saturday Night’s Main Event. When are Morgan and Perez going to learn that when it comes to them and the Judgment Day, “Rh-IYO” is always on top. Ripley says they have a little announcement to make. Once they beat Liv and Roxanne at Saturday Night’s Main Event and retain their title, they will be participating in the Royal Rumble match.

Sky starts to speak, but Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez cut her off. They walk out to the stage. Morgan says she and her little Roxy are taking the titles back to the clubhouse on Saturday. Perez asks how they’ll both enter the Royal Rumble. Morgan has a friendly piece of advice for Sky. Morgan and Perez get in the ring. Morgan says Ripley always turns her back on her partner at the end of the day. Ripley did it to Morgan. Where it will work out for Sky is that Ripley’s selfishness will be her downfall, and she’ll end up alone. Perez then announces that she, Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez will be in the Royal Rumble. A member of Judgment Day will Main-Event WrestleMania.

Ripley does a mock laugh. How will it work for Judgment Day if they’re all in the Royal Rumble? All of a sudden, Raquel Rodriguez big boots Ripley from behind. Morgan hits Sky with a codebreaker, followed by Rodriguez hitting her with a Tejana Bomb. A furious Ripley gets up and grabs Rodriguez, but Morgan and Perez beat her down. Ripley fights back, but Morgan quickly crushes her with a HUGE Ob-Liv-ion. The Judgment Day stands tall in the ring.


Backstage: Bayley, Lyra Valkyria

Bayley is talking to herself backstage. Lyra Valkyria comes up and says she’s having a hard time staying positive. They’re not building momentum as a tag team. Valkyria hates losing and feeling like she let her friend down. Bayley says Valkyria hasn’t let her down. They have all of 2026 to look forward to. The Royal Rumble is coming up. One of them will win. They’re both excited at the prospect of one of them winning the match and embrace.


El Grande Americano vs. Je’Von Evans

Americano quickly backs Evans to the corner and mocks him. Evans shoves him back and twists out of an arm wrench. Americano fights back, but Evans rolls through. Evans picks up a one-count. Evans leaps over him and rolls him up for a near fall. Evans tells him he was close. Americano does a golf clap. Evans dropkicks Americano down, and Michael Cole calls him Kofi Kingston. Evans leaps around before Americano headbutts him. Evans soon fires back with a hurricanrana, followed by a dropkick. Americano fires back with a step-up enzuigiri before punching and stomping him. Americano throws him out of the ring and tries to send him into the barricade, but Evans puts the brakes on. Evans kicks Americano back, jumps over Rayo and Bravo, and knocks Americano back in the ring. Evans hits a springboard clothesline.

Back from the break, the ringside doctor is with Je’Von Evans. Evans is holding his wrist or forearm in pain. The referee stops the match.

Winner: El Grande Americano via Referee Stoppage.

Je’Von Evans walks off with the ringside doctor and the referee. Evans has shifted to holding his shoulder.

Jackie Redmond is backstage with Finn Bálor. Bálor says the magnitude of the night isn’t lost on him, but it may be lost on CM Punk. These are Bálor’s people on his island. Tonight, there will be a new Irish World Champion. The crowd loudly cheers.

A furious Vision is walking backstage when Raw General Manager Adam Pearce stops them. Pearce tells Paul Heyman to bring Bron Breakker to the show next week. Heyman mentions the phone call he got, but Pearce says it had nothing to do with the call. He wants to talk to him, adult-to-adult. Heyman says he’ll do that, but Pearce better be on his best behavior. Logan Paul was taking pictures of Pearce in the background.

AJ Styles walks up to Pearce. Styles says his wife told him to kick Gunther’s ass. Pearce says there’s no coming back from this. Styles says he knows. Pearce makes the match against Gunther at the Royal Rumble official. Styles’ career will be on the line.

Backstage: Kabuki Warriors

A terrified Kairi Sane is cowering backstage when Asuka comes up to her. Asuka says Sane embarrassed her and lost their titles. Then, Sane lost last week. Asuka says it almost hurt as much as IYO SKY turning on her. Sane looks horrified and slaps herself. Sane promises to ensure Asuka wins the Royal Rumble. She’ll do anything. Asuka says, “Good girl, good girl.” Asuka says, “Don’t make me yell at you again, ok?” Sane sheepishly nods.

Finn Balor vs. CM Punk (c)

World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk heads to the ring to a great ovation. The crowd loudly sings his theme song. The main event is next …

Finn Bálor comes out to his old theme music and gets a HUGE reaction from the Belfast crowd.

The bell rings, and Punk applies a side headlock before taking Bálor down to the mat. Balor kips up, twists out, and hits an arm drag. They both get up at a stalemate. They lock up, and Punk snaps the arm. Bálor quickly takes him down and applies a side headlock. Punk rolls him over for a one-count. Punk fights up to his feet and whips him off. Punk drops down and hits a leaping heel kick. Punk whips Bálor to the corner and hits a running high knee. Punk goes for a running bulldog, but Bálor shoves him off and chops the chest. Bálor grabs him, but Punk knees him in the midsection. Bálor counters a sunset flip by rolling through and hitting a basement dropkick for a two-count.

Punk quickly lifts Bálor, but Bálor slides off. It looks like he’s going for a Sling Blade, but Punk doesn’t go over. The two pros transition to a side headlock. Punk hits a backbreaker to knock him out of the ring before sending him over the commentary table with a suicide dive.

Back from the break, we see Punk applying a rear chin lock. Bálor fights up and elbows out. Bálor punches Punk to the corner. Punk reverses a whip to the corner, hits a running high knee, and follows up with a running bulldog for a two-count. Punk goes back to the rear chin lock. Bálor fights up and elbows out. Punk knees him in the midsection before sending him into the ropes. Punk lowers his head and eats a kick. They trade punches before Punk hits some stinging jabs. Bálor responds with a stiff chop. Punk punches back, so Bálor hits a Pelé Kick to take the World Heavyweight Champion down.

Both men are down. The crowd chants, “Let’s go, Bálor!” Bálor chops Punk in the corner and bounces him off the turnbuckles. Bálor chops him before punching him down in the corner. Bálor is fired up, and the crowd roars for him. Punk reverses a whip to the corner, but Bálor slingshots over him, takes him down, and hits a stomp. Bálor hits a falling elbow drop for a two-count. Bálor charges Punk, but Punk lifts him. Bálor holds the ropes, so Punk puts him on the apron. Bálor shoulders and kicks Punk back, taking him down. Bálor heads to the top rope, but Punk scales the ropes and knees him in the forehead. Punk connects with a top rope superplex! Punk goes for a kip-up, but Bálor surprises him with an inside cradle for a near fall!

Punk pops up and quickly clotheslines Bálor down. Both men slowly get back up. Punk chops Bálor’s chest as dueling chants fire up. Punk reverses a whip, but Bálor comes right back with a Sling Blade. Bálor then clotheslines Punk over the top rope. Bálor gets going and hits Punk with a somersault senton! Bálor gets Punk in the ring and hits a shotgun dropkick into the corner! Bálor heads to the top rope and goes for the Coup de Grâce, but Punk moves. Punk lifts him and hits the Go to Sleep! 1… 2… Bálor kicks out!

Punk drops several elbows before punching away at Bálor. Punk applies the Anaconda Vice, but the crowd isn’t buying that Bálor will submit. Bálor gets a foot on the bottom rope to break the hold. Punk gets to his feet and signals for the end as the crowd boos. Punk sizes Bálor up as he gets to his feet. Bálor elbows out and hits a Sling Blade. Bálor hits another shotgun dropkick before going back to the corner. Bálor hits his second shotgun dropkick in a row and goes to the top rope for the Coup de Grâce! 1… 2… Punk kicks out! Bálor cannot believe it.

Bálor grabs Punk. Punk powers him up for a GTS, but Bálor counters into a roll-up for a near fall. Punk rolls through and hits the GTS for the win!

Winner: CM Punk via Pinfall to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

CM Punk celebrates with the title before helping Finn Bálor to his feet and raising his arm in respect for the Irish crowd. They hug in the ring before a disappointed Bálor walks off.
