As noted before, Je’Von Evans suffered an apparent shoulder-related injury during his match against El Grande Americano during Monday’s WWE RAW show in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Evans was unable to continue to the match resulting in Americano being declared the winner.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Evans was feeling fine backstage following the match. Johnson reported that those spoken to within WWE stated that the primary concern backstage was not that he had suffered a serious injury but instead might have suffered a concussion.
Johnson reported that Evans medical examination backstage revealed he did not suffer a concussion and he was medically cleared and approved to travel with the rest of the RAW roster that evening.
The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that his sources also confirmed that Evans is currently feeling fine and is flying back home. Meltzer reported that those spoken to also confirmed that the initial fear backstage was that Evans might have suffered a concussion but this turned out to not be the case in the end and he was medically cleared.
