As noted before, Will Ospreay has been out of action for AEW since this past August’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 event due to a neck injury and surgery.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Ospreay is currently scheduled to be in attendance backstage at tonight’s AEW Dynamite show in Orlando, Florida.
It was reported that the reason for Ospreay’s visit is for him to be begin the process of being medically examined by AEW for his progress on his neck injury recovery and return to the ring in the future. It was also reported that Ospreay is not expected to make an appearance on camera during the show.
A potential timetable for Ospreay’s in-ring return nor what stage he currently is for his recovery was not given.
