Bobby Lashley Injury & Potential Return Update
Bobby Lashley has been out of action for AEW since this past November due to undisclosed injuries. Lashley’s injury was later confirmed to be legitimate and not a storyline one following MVP’s announcement of it at this past December’s AEW Dynamite Winter Is Coming 2025 show.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that his sources stated that Lashley could make his return from injury sooner than intially expected. Sapp reported that those spoken to stated that Lashley would not be out as long as inititally feared by AEW officials.
No other details were given regarding a potential timetable for Lashley’s return.
Andrade El Idolo Says He Purchased Building Where He Had His First Wrestling Match & Potential Plans to Turn It Into a Gym
A recent episode of Highspots’ Virtual Gimmick Table show featured Andrade El Idolo as the guest. During the show, one of the photos shown to him was the venue where he had his first match in his wrestling career. Andrade revealed that he had purchased the building and currently has plans to potentially turn it into a gym or an arena.
“So I debuted here, in this building. So I buy this building. Yeah, I buy this building so, maybe soon, I make a gym and arena… I have good architect. So, we have everything so, you need to wait, you need to wait.”

Rebel Provides Update on Her Skin Cancer Battle & Wrestling Career Future
As noted before, Rebel, real name Tanea Brooks revealed this past November that she was diagnosed with primary pulmonary lymphoma, which is a type of cancer in the lungs.
Rebel provided an update last week on Twitter stating that she has been declared to be officially medically disabled.
“It saddens me to say that it’s official. Disabled. I won’t stop fighting. I am working on getting into a better rehab.”
