Monday’s WWE RAW show in Toronto, Ontario, Canada featured Austin Theory defeating Rey Mysterio in a singles match.
This match was notable for Mysterio suffering an apparent injury and while he was able to finish the match, he was not involved in the post-match angle involving The Vision’s Theory, “Big” Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, & Bron Breakker’s beatdown of Penta and Dragon Lee, who had been in Mysterio’s corner for support.
Mysterio was instead seen laying on the apron clutching his shoulder and being attended to by medics as the referee threw up the “X” sign. Mysterio was helped to the back after the post-match segment ended.

BodySlam.net’s Cory Hays reported that his sources also confirmed that Mysterio had suffered a legit injury and was taken to backstage by medical.
Mysterio’s status for the Men’s Royal Rumble match at this Saturday’s WWE Royal Rumble 2026 event in Saudi Arabia is currently unknown. Mysterio is among the competitors who have been officially announced for this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble match.
