Steph De Lander Announces She Has Been Medically Cleared By Her Surgeon From Her Neck Injury

As noted before, Steph De Lander has been out of action for TNA Wrestling and the indies since September of 2024 due to a neck injury and surgery.

De Lander provided an update on Tuesday on Twitter announcing that she was fully medically cleared by her surgeon for an in-ring return. De Lander also stating that she is currently seeking an additional opinion from a medical professional to ensure that she will be able to safely return to the ring.

“My neck is 100% healed and I have been cleared by my surgeon to return to the ring. I need guidance from a medical professional to ensure safety so I can get back to doing what I love. I have asked so many times. Can anyone help me @ThisIsTNA @WWE @AEW ???”


Braun Strowman Hospitalized with Knee Infection

Former WWE talent Braun Strowman announced on Instagram that he was hospitalized this past Monday due to him dealing with an infection in his knee.

“Well spent the night in the hospital with an infection that came out of nowhere in my right knee. So I could use some prayers and well wishes. #ThisSucks #WhyMe #lol #painful #IGotThis #ThankYou #FeetAintFree”

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that CMLL talent and mascot KeMonito was recently involved in an accident in Mexico and is currently in need of a blood donor. Meltzer reported that KeMonito missed all of CMLL’s events this past weekend as a result. No other details were given regarding KeMonito’s medical situation.

As noted before, former WWE wrestler Ted DiBiase Jr. was charged in April of 2023 with several criminal charges by the United States Department of Justice over his involvement in embezzling welfare funds as part of a larger welfare scandal in the State of Mississippi. DiBiase Jr.’s attorneys filed a motion last week requesting a mistrial due to one of his attorneys being unavailable for several weeks due to a health issue. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the court approved DiBiase Jr.’s request on Tuesday officially pausing the criminal trial against him through February 22nd. Johnson reported that if DiBiase Jr.’s attorney is not able to represent him at that point, the pause will have given him enough time to work on other potential options for his trial.

Major League Wrestling recently announced that Paul Walter Hauser is the next official competitor for this year’s Battle Riot match at their Battle Riot VIII event on January 29th in Kissimmee, Florida.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that former WWE NXT creative writer Nick Bonanno will be making his official return to MLW as a writer and producer starting at their Battle Riot VIII event this Thursday in Kissimmee.

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling recently announced that DDT talent Daisuke Sasaki and CMLL talent Barbaro Cavernario will be making an appearance for the company at their co-promoted ROH x MLP Global Wars Canada event on March 27th and their Uprising 2026 event on March 28th in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

WrestleCon recently announced that former WWE wrestlers Tatanka and Shelley Martinez, former WWE/AEW talent Jake Hager, and AEW talents Thekla and Mina Shirakawa will be making an appearance for the company at their WrestleCon Las Vegas convention on April 16-19, 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Paramount recently announced that this past Saturday’s UFC 324 event in Las Vegas, Nevada drew a viewership of 7.18 million global households on their Paramount+ streaming service. This was UFC’s premiere event on the service.
