Samoa Joe Not Cleared To Compete Due To Injury

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in Cedar Park, Texas featured the announcement of Samoa Joe not being medically cleared to compete due to him suffering a non-contact injury while training recently.

No other details were given regarding Joe’s injury situation.


AEW World Title Match Set for Revolution 2026

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured one new match announced for the card of Revolution 2026, which takes place on March 15th at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.

This new match announced was an AEW World Championship match of winner of Contenders Series vs. MJF (c).

This new match was setup following Tony Schiavone holding a post-match interview with Omega and announced that the winner of Swerve Strickland vs. Andrade El Idolo will face off against Omega at next week’s show as part of a Contenders Series for the AEW World Championship. This Contenders Series was also announced to feature Hangman Page. It was announced that the winner of that match will advance to the #1 Contender’s match at Grand Slam Australia and the winner of that match will face off against MJF for the title at Revolution 2026.

Tommaso Ciampa Makes Surprise AEW Debut & Answers TNT Title Challenge

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured former WWE talent Tommaso Ciampa making his surprise official debut in AEW.

Following Mark Briscoe’s victory over El Clon to retain his TNT Championship, Briscoe grabbed the microphone and talked about his open challenge for his TNT title and how much he likes the idea for his title defenses going forward. Briscoe continued stating that it will have a small asterisk since nobody from the Don Callis Family can accept it because he is tired of dealing with them.

This led to the lights going out and a heartbeat visual that slowly stopped beating showing on the big screen. This then led to the words “Psycho Killer” being shown. Ciampa then came out to a roaring reaction from the crowd and made his way to the ring to answer Briscoe’s challenge, which Briscoe accepted. It was announced that this match was made official for this week’s Collision show.
