Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources stated that Kevin Knight recently signed a new contract with AEW to remain in the company for the foreseeable future.
Sapp reported that Knight’s new deal is for multiple years in length after originally signing with AEW on a one-year deal after his previous contract with NJPW had expired.
Knight’s new deal reportedly was finalized earlier this year and his performances in AEW have been well received internally in the company.
During his first year with AEW, Knight has formed a tag team with “Speedball” Mike Bailey called JetSpeed and had won the AEW World Trios Championship with Hangman Adam Page. Knight also had most recently competed in an AEW World Championship match against MJF at this past Wednesday’s AEW show in El Paso, Texas.
Knight has been signed with AEW since March of 2025. Besides AEW, Knight had also been signed to a dual contract with NJPW since the same time.
