Charlotte Flair Comments on Her Current Post-WWE Career Plans
Bloomberg Talks held a recent interview with Charlotte Flair. One of the topics discussed included Flair’s thoughts about her current plans for her post-WWE career in the future.
“So that, that to me was like, whether I, you know, I mean, the ultimate goal is to make money and it is a business, but like, to me, when you don’t know what to do with it, I don’t know what my next step is after WWE, but what I do know is I want to help people. That’s why I invested in them because I know you can’t go wrong and helping create a safe space for people. I want to become the person that I needed growing up and I felt like investing in self care for everyone was like the perfect step in that and being their angel investor.”
Flair also gave her thoughts about being a women’s wrestler in WWE in comparison to being a male wrestler in the same company during today’s era of the wrestling industry. Flair also gave her thoughts about her belief that she is as big of a star as any male wrestler in WWE.
“I feel the women who came before me that helped change the landscape that have been grinding for the, you know, 20-30 years before me, they probably felt it more. But when I started in a group of women that I came in with, who I champion every day, we’re not all as close as you know, success and competitiveness and competition take over and always wanting to be at the top of your business. But we were part of this change, and when Stephanie McMahon debuted us, and then there was one other girl who debuted a year later, the Four Horsewomen, that’s what we were coined as. In 2015, when Give Divas a Chance trended for three days, we were part of that rise where we were given the same amount of opportunities and time and segments as the men, and then ultimately myself, Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey ended up main eventing WrestleMania 35 and MetLife. If you had asked someone, even maybe a year prior to that, would the women ever main event a show, they would have laughed. But what we were able to create is that women are capable of selling merchandise, putting people in seats, being top of the card, getting equal opportunities in the ring. So I just, from the day I started, I had one goal to where I am now. So do I feel things go like this? 100%. But do I think I’m as big a star as any male? Absolutely. I almost cussed, but I didn’t.”

Backstage Update on Reason Why WWE Removed Ricky Saints Concert Segment from March 3rd WWE NXT Show From Social Media
The March 3rd episode of WWE NXT was notable for featuring a show closing Absolute Experience with Ricky Saints concert segment involving Ricky Saints and NXT Champion Joe Hendry. This segment generated a very negative reaction from fans over criticisms of the segment running far too long in time as the go-home segment for NXT Vengeance Day 2026 and Saints’ poor work quality in it despite it mocking The Rock and Hendry’s concerts. WWE later removed all clips of this segment that they had posted on social media.
Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed that the reason why WWE removed the clip of Saint’s concert segment was due to the major negative reaction it received online.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that the segment was not Saints’ pitch nor idea but he did write the material used for it. Saints reportedly has been trying to move away from things that could draw his current character’s on-screen comparisons to The Rock.
In regards to the backstage reaction to the segment, it was reported that the general reaction backstage was lukewarm but there were no worries about Hendry or Saints moving forward in the NXT brand. It was also reported that the belief backstage was that Hendry and Saints recovered well for their match for the NXT Championship at this past Saturday’s NXT Vengeance Day 2026 event.
It was also reported that the original expectation for Saints was that he would not be in NXT for a full year after he had joined WWE in February of 2025.
