Drew McIntyre “Quits” From SmackDown Only To Appear Again for Jacob Fatu Attack
Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the PHX Arena in Phoenix, Arizona featured Drew McIntyre announcing he “quits” from WWE’s SmackDown brand only to apparently take it back afterwards.
During the show, McIntyre came out to ringside and stood on top of the announcer’s table. McIntyre called out SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and proceeded to run him down over what happened to him last week. This led to Aldis coming out and stated he understands why Drew keeps complaining about not getting fair shot before because the moment he had a fair shot to defend his Undisputed WWE title he ended up losing the title. An angry McIntyre got into the ring and stated “this is bulls***” and demanded that Aldis fix the situation.

This led to Jacob Fatu’s music playing to interrupt and came out to the ring. Fatu grabbed the microphone and told McIntyre that there’s nothing to fix and if it wasn’t for him, Drew wouldn’t be champion in the first place. Fatu continued stating that he fixed the situation to make sure Drew wasn’t champion last week. Fatu then mocked McIntyre asking him what he’s going to do about it. An irate McIntyre responded back stating that he is done with Jacob and everyone else. McIntyre then walked up to Aldis and told him that he “quits.” McIntyre then left the ring and went out through the crowd as Aldis and Fatu looked on over what just happened.

In a follow-up, near the end of the singles match between Trick Williams and Fatu, McIntyre made a surprise return and attacked Fatu on the outside while the referee was not looking. McIntyre then tossed Fatu back into the ring leading to Williams hitting the Trick Shot for the pinfall victory. Following the match, McIntyre got into the ring and continued his attack on Fatu laying him out with a Claymore Kick. McIntyre then gave a look at the WrestleMania sign before looking back down on Fatu’s fallen body.

In another follow-up segment, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis was in the ring for the Undisputed WWE Championship match contract signing segment between Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. Aldis addressed McIntyre showing up after claiming that he had “quit” and welcomed him back to SmackDown. Aldis then stated that as a gift to McIntyre, it will be him versus Fatu in a match at next week’s show.

Danhausen Appears & Curses The Miz
Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured Danhausen making an appearance and The Miz becoming the next person to get cursed.
During the show, The Miz was seen walking backstage ahead of his Miz TV segment with Jelly Roll. This led to Danhausen showing up to interrupt The Miz and shilled his new shirt merchandise. Danhausen then started listing off his demands he wants met from The Miz including him taking over Miz TV with his own talk show segment. The Miz responded back telling Danhausen that wasn’t going to happen and after some more words, Danhausen reminded Miz what he said last week if he refused, which led to Danhausen saying that The Miz is now cursed and disappeared while The Miz was not looking.

This curse was later revealed to involve The Miz’s microphone briefly stopped working during his Miz TV segment with Jelly Roll and afterwards getting laid out by Jelly Roll after Jelly Roll tried to punch Kit Wilson instead over the insults and remarks he made against him.

In a follow-up segment, The Miz was seen walking with Kit Wilson who told him that he will talk to Nick Aldis to book a match for some revenge on Jelly Roll. This led to Danhausen showing up with his jar of teeth and told Miz if he has a few loose ones since he could use it for his collection. Danhausen then told The Miz that he could fix the curse if he just did the one thing he asked for, which was for The Miz to be his mentor. The Miz rejected Danhausen’s demand leading to Danhausen quickly disappearing again and The Miz mumbling that there is no curse.
If you want the curse reversed…you know what to do Miz 😈
