As noted before, Kair Sane, Zoey Stark, and Santos Escobar were released from WWE this past Friday as part of a larger batch of talent releases and departures.
The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported that his sources stated that Stark had been medically cleared for some time from her ACL, MCL, and meniscus injuries when she was released from WWE.
In regards to Escobar, Alvarez reported that Escobar was not medically cleared from his torn triceps injury that he had suffered at Lucha Libre AAA’s Rey de Reyes 2026 event this past March when he was released from WWE.
In regards to Sane, Alvarez reported that his sources confirmed that she had already traveled back to Japan. Alvarez reported that prior to her release, Sane had traveled back to her home in Japan at least once or twice per month every month since she had first signed. Alvarez also reported that her constant traveling to Japan may or may not have been related to WWE’s decision to release her.
