As noted before, the May 28th episode of WWE NXT featured former NJPW talent EVIL, real name Takaaki Watanabe, making his official surprise WWE debut for the NXT brand.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that EVIL is currently expected to be going under the new ring name of “Nox Raijin” going forward for his career in WWE.
WWE had filed a trademark for this new name on April 28th for wrestling-related purposes.. The “Raijin” portion of the name refers to a Japanese god of thunder and lightning.
