Kit Wilson Comments on Uncertainty of Elton Prince Making In-Ring Return
As noted before, Pretty Deadly’s Elton Prince has been out of action for WWE since May of 2025 due to a neck injury and neck fusion surgery.
SHAK Wrestling held a recent interview with Kit Wilson. One of the topics discussed included Wilson’s thoughts about there being a big question mark about Prince making a potential return to the ring from his neck injury.
“It’s a way to elevate, the only issue is with Elton and the unfortunate injury, there’s still a big question mark there. We’ve got a long road of recovery and it’s still a bit of a question mark of whether he will return to the ring, it’s a serious injury. So, I hope he does, I want him to come back. If he does, yeah, hopefully I’ve raised the profile enough that it’ll be a bigger and better Pretty Deadly.”
Wilson also gave his thoughts about how fans will get to see a more mature version of Pretty Deadly if Prince does end up returning to the ring again.
“The fun side of that is, I think it’ll be a different Pretty Deadly. I don’t think we fully know what that will be and I think it’ll be a more mature Pretty Deadly. Again, starting off in NXT UK, I was 24. I think Elton was 22. I’m now 30, Elton is I think any day now turning 29. So, I think Pretty Deadly, by the time they come back and by the time they reform, we’re just gonna be more mature I think. I think we’re gonna be just a different animal. I don’t even fully know what that is, we’ll very much stand for a lot of similar things, but it’s gonna be an evolution for real. We were Charmander before and now we’re about to become Charizard.”

Sami Zayn Comments on His Current Face/Heel Dynamic Being “I’m Trying To Play This One A Little Different”
The Toronto Sun held a recent interview with Sami Zayn. One of the topics discussed included Zayn’s thoughts about his current feud with Trick Williams and his belief that he has not fully transitioned to being a heel despite his recent destruction attack on The Gingerbread Man.
“I’ll disagree with your statement that I’ve fully turned heel here, I don’t think I have. I think I’m trying to play this one a little different because this one is kind of different. We’re kind of riding these reactions, which are kinda different week to week. So, I had this idea for this slight character shift that would be a little out of the box and would kind of split the audience a little bit, but sometimes things just don’t work out exactly how you envision it. Sometimes you think you’re going to be somewhere on the timeline and you’re not. Maybe I’m being a little vague here about it, but all this to say, I still think there’s a ways to go and it could still go in a number of different ways, which I find interesting and kind of refreshing. Although, to be fair, if you kick a mannequin gingerbread man below the belt, I know that will upset some people because people want to have fun.”
