Adam Copeland Comments on Winning AEW Tag Titles & Blowing His Pants Out at AEW Double or Nothing 2026

This past Sunday’s AEW Double or Nothing 2026 event in Queens, New York featured Cage & Cope (Christian Cage & Adam Copeland) defeating FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) in a New York Street Fight match to become the new AEW World Tag Team Champions.

Copeland recently reflected on Instagram about his AEW World Tag Team titles victory with Cage and them winning World Tag Team titles for the first time in 25 years. Copeland also gave his thoughts about him blowing out his pants in the process during their match against FTR.

“Last night at Double or Nothing @christian4peeps and I did something we haven’t done in 25 years. And that’s win tag team gold. He was retired for 7 years and I was retired for 9. But we fought to get our careers back and last night made it all worth it. NY you came out in full voice and supplied one of the favorite nights of my career. Even though I blew my pants out😳. The fact that I’m still having nights like this so deep into my career, with my best friend, my wife and wrestling one of the best teams ever in FTR, is not lost on me. Also, in case ya missed our ppv, @aew rules.”

Renee Paquette Comments on Her Being Surprised By Announcement of Mick Foley Co-Hosting AEW Double or Nothing Buy In Show

A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured AEW interviewer and personality Renee Paquette as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Paquette’s thoughts about her reaction when she found out that Mick Foley would be co-hosting the Buy In pre-show for AEW’s Double or Nothing 2026 event.

“It was so exciting. I had no idea that that was gonna be happening. Of course, I’ve known Mick (Foley) for such a long time. So to be able to work with him in this capacity… Any time you get to have someone of that legendary status come on, shed some light. Mick is such a fan of professional wrestling. So to have him be a part of AEW now, it just feels like such a perfect mix. I feel like he’s somebody that just fits in with the entire vibe and essence that is All Elite Wrestling.”

Christopher Daniels Comments on Him Having No Desire To Wrestle Again

Christopher Daniels has been retired from his in-ring wrestling career since his Texas Death Match against Hangman Adam Page at AEW’s Collision Maximum Carnage 2025 show in January of 2025.

A recent virtual fan signing event for K & S WrestleFest featured Daniels as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Daniels’ thoughts about if he has the desire to wrestle again in the future.

“I mean, I wish I could but, I have to be honest about physically how my body’s beat up, and I watched some of the last matches of my career. I did a lot of stuff in DEFY in Seattle, Washington, and I watched a lot of those matches and while the mental part of those matches is really, really good at least — I’m very proud of it — I have to be honest and say I wasn’t really in the best of shape, and I could tell that I was slowing down, and so, yeah… the way it ended for me is probably best that it ended, and yeah, I don’t really have a desire to get back into it just because I don’t wanna embarrass myself.”
