Video: Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley

Renee Paquette caught up with Ospreay after his win on Sunday saying he’s over the move about his win before going to the doctor when he runs into Kenny Omega already there with an icepack on his neck. Omega wants to address the elephant in the room, Death Riders, who he’s no stranger to. His worry is Ospreay can’t trust them, as they do what they say they’ll do and they’ve hurt both Omega & Ospreay in the past. Omega questions why Ospreay didn’t ask him to help instead and Ospreay said because Omega wasn’t there. Omega said he’s got his own way of going about things and way to bounce back like he used to both in and out of the ring. Omega gets the appeal of the Death Riders, they get the job done, he’s not saying not to trust them, but just be careful, as a friend. Jon Moxley walks in saying that’s good advice, as they all have their skeletons, don’t we? Moxley hands Ospreay an icepack and tells him the truck is outside. Omega said he’ll always be there for Ospreay, who told Omega not to give up on that World Title, Omega said you too. This was a very good opening segment.

He says the people are hard nose, grinders, some of the toughest human beings on the planet. And Max sticks out like a sore thumb because he is not tough. He says MJF thinks the world deserves to be his. He says MJF believes that he is above them all, better than them all and MJF believe that. Mark tells him that it was not very long ago that he pinned him. He says he wants a title shot. He asks MJF if he will continue to be a soft little bitch or is he going to man up.

MJF tells him no. He is saying no because unlike everyone in the company, he understands that All Elite Wrestling isn’t just a sport, it’s a business. And optically speaking, it’s bad enough that an emo freak like Darby Allin even sniffed the AEW title. And Briscoe thinks it’s good for Mark Briscoe. MJF begins to laugh. MJF says it’s not a good idea, if he challenges for the title, it would probably put the company out of business. He says there are levels to this and Briscoe is no where near on the level of the devil. MJF leaves the ring.

He says he actually agrees with Rush, if anyone has earned themselves a title shot, it’s him. And from a business standpoint, he has good hair, a good look, he has a catchphrase and more marketable than the ugly piece of shit Briscoe. He asks Rush if he wants to wrestle him for the Triple B tonight. MJF says psych and to listen. Next week, they will have a match for the title and he better be prepared because the bull is about to lock horns with the devil. MJF’s music hits and he heads to the back.

Shida heads back into the ring as Stat grabs a chair from underneath the ring. She throws it into the ring, but this allows Shida to grab it and take Stat out with it before setting it up on the top turnbuckle.

She sends Shida to the opposite side, but Hikaru fights back before grabbing the kendo stick to land some shots on Kris forcing her to the outside. She grabs…something from a fan, and we realize it’s an apple that she slams against the head of Statlander.

Stat continues the attack, which goes up the ramp and toward the back.

She goes to set some more chairs up, but Stat is back on her feet…and hoists Shida up for a Death Valley Driver onto the chairs!

With Shida trying to recover, Stat reaches under the ring for another weapon…pulling out a bundle of light tubes! Shida begs her off and Stat decides to set the light tubes down…which allows Shida to blindside her! She sends Kris back into the ring and grabs the light tubes before cracking it over the back of Statlander. Shida follows up with a Falcon Arrow…but it’s only good for a two count as Stat kicks out!
