As noted before, current TNA World Champion Mike Santana’s contract with TNA Wrestling is currently set to expire sometime this July.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed that WWE is currently interested in potentially signing Santana once his contract with TNA expires. It was reported that there is “strong internal support” from at least one member of the WWE main roster for Santana’s potential signing with the company.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that Santana is well-regarded for his professionalism along with his work in the ring.
It was also reported that the current belief is that WWE would like Santana to be on the main roster before the end of 2026 if he does end up signing with their company. It is not known which brand Santana would likely be on if he were to leave TNA for WWE.
