As noted before, this past May’s AEW Double or Nothing 2026 event in Queens, New York featured WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley making his official debut appearance in AEW. Foley had stated in a recent interview with The Ariel Helwani Show that he is open to the idea of potentially wrestling one last match for his wrestling career and it taking place in AEW.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources within AEW stated that Foley has recently made up his mind that he would wrestle once more and that it would take place in AEW.
It was reported that the current belief is that if Foley is medically cleared to wrestle, then AEW CEO and President Tony Khan would be eager to boom him in a match.
Foley last wrestled in January of 2012 at WWE’s Royal Rumble 2012 event.
