Chad Gable Comments on His Shoulder Injury in 2025
As noted before, Chad Gable recently announced that he would be releasing a new nine-part documentary series focusing on his road to his recovery from a serious shoulder injury in 2025 and his in-ring return at this past January’s Royal Rumble 2026 event.
Gable released the first episode of his new documentary series earlier today on his YouTube channel. One of the topics discussed included Gable’s thoughts about the cause of his shoulder injury in 2025.
“This stems back a while, but in October (2024), I was wrestling Gunther on a live event in the UK. Something happened to my bicep tendon on [the right] side, which had never happened before. I don’t even know specifically what happened; it was nobody’s fault, it was just a freak thing. I was walking to the back after the match, my bicep was feeling very funky and it looked funky. It turned out that I had a slight tear in my right bicep tendon, the one that attaches to the shoulder. Nothing serious enough to require surgery. I kept wrestling, finished the tour, and carried on as normal.
Progressively, the right side was giving me more trouble. Sometimes, I couldn’t extend my elbow all the way or it hurt to or I’d have pain in the lower part of the bicep. eventually, I decided to get it checked out for my sanity. I got MRIs on my shoulder, tricep, and bicep tendons. The doctor explained to me that they found different issues.”
Gable also gave his thoughts about how his doctor told him that he had tendinitis in the right elbow, a tear of the bicep, and partial rotator cuff tear. Gable also stated that he also got an MRI of the left shoulder that also revealed a tear of the rotator cuff that needed to be repaired.
Gable also gave his thoughts about how he was so worried about the right shoulder but it was the left shoulder that had the biggest issue for him.

Ryback Says CM Punk’s New Physique Doesn’t “Scream Steroid Abuse”
As noted before, a video recently spread around on social media that revealed CM Punk with a new muscular physique during his time away from WWE since this past April’s WrestleMania 42 event. Among those who responded to Punk’s new physique was former AEW and current TNA talent Ryan Nemeth who implied that Punk had used performance enhancing drugs to put on that level of muscle mass in a short period of time.
Former WWE wrestler Ryback recently responded on the situation claiming that Punk’s new muscular physique doesn’t mean he had abused steroids to make it possible and instead he believes it was possible naturally due to Punk going back to a stronger and healthier previous version of himself for the basis for the body change.
“There’s been a lot of talk lately about CM Punk’s improved physique and the usual speculation that comes with it. Is he on steroids? TRT? HRT? The reality is nobody knows except him and the medical professionals involved, if any.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: happiness is a choice, and being angry and complaining is a choice. We all have free will.
When I look at Punk’s physique, I don’t see something that screams steroid abuse. I see a stronger, healthier version of his previous self. There are a lot of things that can create that result. Training heavier in lower rep ranges can add thickness and density to muscles. Better nutrition, better recovery, better sleep, lower stress, eliminating seed oils, and simply being more consistent can all lead to significant improvements.
Could TRT or HRT be involved? Sure, it’s possible. But if someone has medically low testosterone or hormone levels, restoring them to healthy levels is about health and quality of life. It shouldn’t be something people are shamed for. There’s a big difference between optimizing health and abusing performance-enhancing drugs.
Having been under the WWE Wellness Program myself, I understand the rules and requirements. Personally, I don’t believe CM Punk is abusing steroids. I believe he’s likely made positive changes, and whatever he’s doing appears to be working.
What I find interesting is how much body shaming exists in pro wrestling. People complain about Mason Rook because of how he looks. People complain about CM Punk because he improved his physique. It seems no matter what someone does, there’s always a group looking to criticize.
Personally, I’m happy to see him looking healthy and strong. And maybe now he understands why the term “steroid guy” was never the right label for someone like me. I’ve been against steroid abuse since I was very young, but I’ve always been for optimal health and becoming the best version of ourselves.
And that’s the last bite. Feed Me More! ”
