As noted before, Sareee has been out of action from wrestling since this past mid-May due to her taking a break for treatment for a neck injury issue. Despite her currently being out of action, Sareee was announced to be competing in this year’s Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournament for AEW.
AEW CEO Tony Khan provided an update announcing that Sareee has not been medically cleared to compete by AEW doctors and as a result she has been pulled from her scheduled match at tonight’s AEW Dynamite Summer Blockbuster 2026 show in Cincinnati, Ohio.
It was announced that Maya World will be replacing Sareee for her scheduled match against Skye Blue for the Quarterfinal Round in this year’s Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournament.
