Kris Statlander on Her Belief There Is Something To Learn From Every Single Match, Potential of Her Going Into AEW All In 2026 as TBS Champion Again, & Having Her Scars from Bed of Nails Spot from Women’s Blood & Guts Match Tattooed on Her Back

The Daily Star held a recent interview with Kris Statlander. One of the topics discussed included Statlander’s thoughts about her belief that there is something to learn from every single match regardless if it is a win or a loss.

“I feel like there’s something to learn from every single match that you do, whether it’s a win or a loss. Maybe in a loss, you can learn something that you’ve done doesn’t work and then you can learn to not do it or make the same mistakes again. Then, you can learn to win the match. I feel like there’s always value every time you step into the ring. If you don’t walk away feeling accomplished or feeling like there’s something you got out of it, I feel like you could be missing the point a little bit.”

Statlander also gave her thoughts about the possibility of her going into this year’s AEW All In event as TBS Champion again.

“We’re also in the running of figuring out the TBS Champion right now since Willow unfortunately had to vacate the title. Maybe I could be walking in as TBS Champion a second time. It would be really cool to walk into Wembley as the TBS Champion for a second time. I was TBS Champion the first time we went to Wembley, but I was not on the show. So, getting to do that as TBS Champion would be incredible.”

Statlander also gave her thoughts about how she got her scars from her bed of nails spots during AEW’s first ever Women’s Blood & Guts match this past November tattooed in red on her back.

“My scars that I got from taking the bed of nails at Blood & Guts, I got those scars tattooed on my back in red so they always look fresh. Everytime I go to the medical room to get my back worked on or something, they see my [tattoo], they always think it’s a fresh cut and they’re like, ‘I can’t work on your back.’ Then they’re like, ‘Oh, wait, no, it’s a tattoo.’”
