As noted before, TNA Head of Talent Relations and TNA booker Tommy Dreamer officially departed from TNA earlier today. Besides Dreamer, TNA producer Sami Callihan also confirmed he departed from the company earlier today. Dreamer’s departure was confirmed by TNA to be part of a larger workplace reductions taking place within the company today.
In regards to the workplace reduction, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources confirmed that there were more behind the scenes departures within TNA today. Sapp reported that some of the names he was told were “surprising ones.”
In regards to TNA’s creative team following Dreamer’s departure, PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Delirious, real name Hunter Johnson, currently remains as the head of TNA creative and lead booker in the company. Johnson reported that Delirious will remain as the point person for TNA’s creative team moving forward.
TNA is currently believed to have been in contact with former WWE SmackDown co-lead writer Brian “Road Dogg” James to potentially be Dreamer’s replacement in the company.
