WWE Women’s United States Title and Undisputed WWE Title Triple Threat Matches Announced for Night of Champions 2026

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri featured two new matches announced for the card of Night of Champions 2026.

The first new match announced was an Undisputed WWE Championship Triple Threat match of Gunther vs. Sami Zayn Cody Rhodes (c).

This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over the bad blood issues between Rhodes, Zayn, and Gunther. During tonight’s show, these bad blood issues continued resulting in Zayn costing Gunther two chances back-to-back at winning the Undisputed WWE title and Rhodes telling SmackDown GM that the only way this situation can be handled once and for all is if he takes on both Gunther and Zayn at Night of Champions, which Aldis agreed and made the match official.

The second new match announced was a WWE Women’s United States Championship match of Jade Cargill vs. Tiffany Stratton (c).

This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Stratton and Cargill’s issues with each other that also involved B-Fab and Michin helping out Cargill and Chelsea Green trying to help out Stratton.

Liv Morgan Advances to Finals of Queen of the Ring at Night of Champions 2026

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured one Semifinal Round match for this year’s Queen of the Ring tournament.

This match was Liv Morgan defeating Charlotte Flair.

As a result of her victory, Morgan will be facing off against IYO SKY in the Finals of this year’s Queen of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions 2026.

Jey Uso Advances to Finals of King of the Ring at Night of Champions 2026

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured one Semifinal Round match for this year’s King of the Ring tournament.

This match was Jey Uso defeating Je’Von Evans.

As a result of his victory, Uso will be facing off against Oba Femi in the Finals of this year’s King of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions 2026.

Ricky Saints vs. Trick Williams for WWE United States Title Set for Night of Champions 2026

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured one newly updated match for the card of Night of Champions 2026, which takes place on June 27 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This newly updated match announced was a WWE United States Championship match of Ricky Saints vs. Trick Williams (c).

This newly updated match was setup following Saints defeating Carmelo Hayes in a #1 Contender’s match.
