As noted before, TNA producer Sami Callihan departed from TNA Wrestling this past June that was later revealed to have been him being fired from the company as part of a larger “workforce reduction.” Callihan has been working backstage as a producer at recent AEW shows since earlier this month.
Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed that Callihan has been working as a backstage producer of late in AEW.
It was reported that Callihan is currently not working in an official role within AEW but instead he has been working as a backstage producer on a trial basis. Those spoken to reportedly stated that Callihan’s work for AEW could end up leading to more for him in the company if things go well.
