John Cena Comments on Thought Process Behind Losing To Brock Lesnar at WWE Wrestlepalooza

Netflix released season three of WWE’s WWE: Unreal docuseries on their service this past Tuesday.

During the second episode of season three of WWE: Unreal, John Cena gave his thoughts about his match against Brock Lesnar at WWE Wrestlepalooza this past September and the thought process behind him losing to Lesnar in the dominating manner that he did.

“That’s it. There’ll be one Brock (Lesnar) in wrestling. End stop. The ‘why’ is losing to Brock does not kill me at all because I’m on my way out, and we’re bringing him back with the intent to give him as much energy so he can begin to give it away. What’s the best way to do that? So yeah, he’s gonna come back and destroy me. Yes. Physically, it’s gonna be a tough night champ, but, that’s what we want.”

Tommaso Ciampa Comments on His Missed Opportunities in WWE and Not Getting To Check Off Opponents on His WWE Checklist

A recent episode of 98.5’s Stick To Wrestling podcast featured former WWE and current AEW talent Tommaso Ciampa as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Ciampa’s thoughts about his missed opportunities during his WWE career and not getting to check off certain opponents on his WWE dream match checklist.

“My biggest goal, and I said it to Tony early on, is that I just want to check off the checklist. I feel like I spent the last ten years, specifically when I was on the main roster where I had this checklist and I never felt like I checked it. I worked with AJ Styles on a couple of live events, once on television. Never worked with Sami Zayn outside of live events. Never did stuff with Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns. The list goes on with people that I never crossed paths with on TV. I was like, ‘these are just missed opportunities.’ As a performer, you want that and want to share the ring with people who at that elite level. That’s how you continuously progress. I felt like I didn’t get a lot of those the last four years.”

WWE filed a new trademark for “Alix Brooks” on July 19 for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

This is the new ring name for NXT talent Meghan Walker, who previously went by the ring name of Kylee Quinn in WWE.
