Dragon Lee Pulled from AAA Verano de Escándalo 2026 Due To Thumb Injury

Dragon Lee announced earlier today on Instagram that he had recently suffered a torn ligament injury in his thumb and as a result, he will be unable to compete at tonight’s AAA Verano de Escándalo 2026 tapings at the Arena San Marcos in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

“I wanted to tell you all about what happened today. I was already on the plane, about to take off for Aguascalientes; I want to apologize to everyone, since I won’t be able to make it to Aguascalientes because this Monday on Raw, I’m not sure exactly when or how, I sprained my finger. I’ve already had some X-rays and an MRI, and it turns out I have a collateral ligament tear. I can’t wrestle, and they told me to go home.”

Lee was originally scheduled to compete in a Vacant AAA Latin American Championship Qualifier Three-way match against La Parka and Mecha Wolf at the tapings.

Rey Mysyerio Appearance Announced for AAA Verano de Escándalo Week 1 Show

Lucha Libre AAA announced one new segment for the card of tonight’s AAA Verano de Escándalo Week 1 show at the Arena San Marcos in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

This new segment announced was AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio to make an appearance on the show.

  • AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship match – La Hiedra & Laredo Kid vs. Lola Vice & Mr. Iguana (c)
