Kai Kavari Announces WWE Departure

Kai Kavari, real name Cyrus Habibi-Likio, announced earlier today on Instagram that he has departed from WWE.

In a video posted, Kavari stated that he had signed a three-year deal with WWE but he made the decision to leave the company.

Kavari stated that the reason for his departure is due to him feeling like his life belongs in California with his family and he had been having a hard time starting his California real estate business going while he’s in Florida working for WWE and his wrestling career.

“When you start with WWE, you don’t get paid the most. Potentially, you can make bread. I’m not at a time in my life where I can live off of potential. Being brutally honest, I can go back to California and make main roster money in real estate.”

Kavari also stated that his faith was another reason for his decision to leave WWE.

Kavari thanked WWE Performance Center head coach Matt Bloom and others in the company.

Kavari also stated that he is leaving the door open for a potential return in the future for his wrestling career.

Prior to his departure, Kavari had been with WWE since 2025 and had primarily worked for the WWE EVOLVE brand.
