Darby Allin on Him Having No Regrets About His Short AEW World Title Reign & Potential of Mick Foley Wrestling One More Time In Future

A recent episode of The Mark Hoke Show podcast featured Darby Allin as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Allin’s thoughts about him having no regrets about his AEW World title reign being short in length. Allin held the belt for 39 days in total and had several successful title defenses during that short period.

“I have no regrets with that. I was burning the candle at both ends, but I have no regrets at all because you live by the sword, you die by the sword.

So a short and sweet championship run, that’s my motto in life. You just got to bring it, man. But I honestly have no regrets. I would not change a single thing.”

Allin also gave his thoughts about the potential of WWE Hall of Famer and AEW personality wrestling one more match in his in-ring career in the future.

“It’s like Sting. If he feels that the final chapter is unwritten, there shouldn’t be anything stopping him. Everybody told Sting, ‘There is nothing else you can do in wrestling. You retired in 2014 with a neck injury. Why would you come back?’ There was something in his spirit, a question that he had to answer. If Mick Foley has that inside of him, by all means, do it.”
