Adam Copeland vs. Steve Maclin Announced for MLP Northern Rising 2026

Wednesday’s MLP Mayhem show on TSN2 featured one new match announced for the card of Northern Rising 2026, which takes place on October 3 at the TMU’s Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

This new match announced was a singles match of Adam Copeland vs. Steve Maclin.

This new match was setup following Maclin accepting Copeland’s challenge for a match at Northern Rising.

New Owen Hart Documentary To Premiere At Film Festivals & Streaming Rights Sold To CRAVE

The Owen Hart Foundation recently announced on Facebook that a private screening for their new documentary film based on Owen Hart titled “OWEN” was held during this past AEW All In 2026 weekend in London, England.

It was also announced that the streaming rights for this upcoming new documentary film has been sold to HBO’s CRAVE streaming service.

It was also announced that this upcoming new film will be premiering at upcoming film festival circuits soon.

It was also announced that Chris Jericho is an executive producer for this upcoming new documentary film.

“The OHF and its many esteemed guests walked the red carpet at the private screening of the OWEN documentary in London England. The film is set to hit the film festival circuits soon and has already been sold to HBO’s CRAVE streaming service with Chris Jericho as one of the executive producers and phenomenal guitarist Slash of Guns N’ Roses creating the musical score. Hats off to the film crew, Lee Brazier, Jo Lewis, Michael Paszt, and Pasha Patriki for their astounding work on this ’10 years in the making’ documentary. This past Tuesday’s CMLL Martes Populares event at Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico featured CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone officially debuting a newly redesigned CMLL World Women’s belt.

PRODUCE Wrestling announced that “Blackheart” Lio Rush recently signed a multi-fight deal with the company. It was also announced that Rush will be making his official debut appearance for the company at their VOLUME 5: Skoden event on October 12 in Brooklyn, New York.

Book publisher Ben Bella Books recently announced that former AEW manager CJ Perry, also known as Lana in WWE, is currently scheduled to be releasing her new novel titled Bulletproof Angel on November 10.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that TNA talent Daria Rae joined the cast for the upcoming new television series Myron Bolivar for Netflix. Johnson reported that the scale of Rae’s role is currently not known beyond her portraying a pro wrestling champion. This upcoming new series is based on the novels by writer Harlan Coben.

PROGRESS Wrestling recently announced one new match for the card of their The Odyssey Tour 2026 event on September 12 in Bournemouth, England:
