“Let ’Em Know” By T.I. Revealed As New Official WWE SmackDown Theme Song

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the CDMX Arena in Mexico City, Mexico featured SmackDown commentator Michael Cole announcing that “Let ’Em Know” By T.I. is the new official theme song for SmackDown shows going forward.

SmackDown previously used “Neva Play” by Megan Thee Stallion ft. RM as its theme song.

Damian Priest Turns Heel & Attacks R-Truth

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured Damien Priest turning heel and attacking R-Truth.

Priest’s heel turn was initially setup following last week’s show involving Priest having a chat with Truth backstage about how he had enjoyed being together as a tag team this summer but its time for them to split up and for him chasing singles titles again. Truth managed to convince Priest to team up one more time after the War Raiders showed up to mock them and were willing to face off against them for their AAA World Tag titles.

Following Priest and Truth’s loss to the War Raiders for the AAA World Tag Team Championship, Priest went into the ring and gave a hug to Truth. Priest then grabbed a sombrero that Truth wore for his entrance and placed it on Truth’s head. Truth and Priest then celebrated only for Priest to reveal him being nice was just a ruse and laid out Truth with a clothesline and followed it with a South of Heaven before leaving the ring.
