As noted before, NJPW English commentator Walker Stewart recently signed a contract extension with NJPW to remain in the company for the foreseeable future. Besides NJPW, Stewart will also be continuing his work for Stardom for their English commentary team and make occasional appearances for AEW.
A recent episode of the BackupHangman Radio podcast featured Stewart as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Stewart providing some more details about his new contract extension with NJPW. Stewart stated that his NJPW and Stardom deals are both full-time deals.
Stewart also stated that his current NJPW deal is set to expire in January of 2029 and his current Stardom deal is set to expire in June of 2027.
In regards to AEW, Stewart stated that his AEW commentary work will be done on a per-appearance basis and AEW fans can expect to see him once or twice per month.
