Max Caster Provides Update on Anthony Bowens’ AEW Career Status & His Own Potential Return To AEW In Future

As noted before, Anthony Bowens and Max Caster’s contracts with AEW officially expired on October 1. Caster was involved in a controversial incident at TNA’s Bound For Glory 2026 event earlier this month leading to TNA cutting all ties with him and him stepping away from wrestling for the foreseeable future and to getting therapy.

A virtual fan signing event for K & S WrestleFest featured Caster as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Caster providing an update on Bowens’ current status with AEW.

“He’s wrestling. He’s still there. I don’t wanna speak for him too much but he still works there.”

Caster also gave his thoughts about the future of his wrestling career and the potential of him returning to AEW in the future.

“It’s wrestling, right? You never say never. However, I am saying no to wrestling bookings right now, and that would be a wrestling booking so, I don’t know.”

Caster also gave his thoughts about how he had agreed to do the signing event before his booking with TNA Wrestling and how this will be the last wrestling-related thing he does for the foreseeable future.

“I agreed to do the virtual signing a couple months ago, I think. I’m honoring this… especially because we know Brian (Myers). I gotta respect Brian too so, this is my last wrestling thing for a while, so whoever’s here, I’m sure somebody is clipping this, waiting for me to say something crazy. I’m gonna try not to today. But, this will be the last time you guys see me for an undefined amount of time.”
