Joey Removed As NWA Booker + JT Lightning Dies

— Joey Ryan issued the following statement today: On the afternoon of August 4th, I was informed that due to internal conflicts between myself and the company, I was being relieved of my duties as Senior Producer of NWA Championship Wrestling From Hollywood. I wanted to take a moment to thank all of the cast and crew who worked so hard for me during my tenure there. I also wanted to thank the fans because without them, there is no show. Lastly, thank you to the NWA and KDOC-TV Los Angeles for the opportunity they provided me. I was also informed that I would no longer be utilized as talent for the program. I wish everybody remaining there the best of luck and hope you as fans will continue to support the brand. I hope I can count on your continued support for me as well. — JT Lightning has passed away following a long battle with cancer. Lightning was wrestler and promoter in Cleveland for a number of years. On behalf of all of us, our condolences to the family, friends and fans of JT Lightning.
