First ROH-NYC Match Announced + Velvet Wants Lita

— Ring Of Honor has announced the first match for Death Before Dishonor IX, which happens on September 17.

The “Ringmaster Challenge”- 2/3 Falls Match
Eddie Edwards vs. Roderick Strong with Truth Martini
* First fall is pinfall only. Second fall is submissions only. If necessary, the third fall will be a 15 minute Iron Man Match.

The event will air on iPPV at GoFightLive and will take place at the Manhattan Center in New York City.

— On Twitter, Velvet Sky was asked to name which woman which she would like wrestle that she hasn’t before. She replied, “Lita!!!”

The TNA Knockout has stated in the past that Lita inspired her to enter the world of professional wrestling.

Sky also noted that she won’t be appearing on iMPACT! Wrestling until next week’s show.
