— Former WWE Tough Enough contestant Michelle Deighton and her wrestling personality husband Jonny Fairplay, who are split up, were offered $50,000 each to appear on a new VH-1 reality show called “Relationship Rehab.” Fairplay reportedly agreed to do the show but Deighton turned it down. Fairplay was going to put his money from the show into their daughter’s college fund. Deighton said she would have turned down the show even if she was offered $1 million.
— WWE and UFC took advertisements out in the Sports Business Journal a few weeks back. WWE listed Con Agra Foods, 7-11, Kmart, Mattel, Mars, THQ and The National Guard as it’s main sponsors. The company claimed 74% of its audience is older than 21, 36% are women and 19% are Hispanic.
