The 4/7 post-WrestleMania edition of WWE Raw drew a 3.93 cable rating. The hourly ratings were 3.83 and 4.02. This is up from last week’s 3.55, so In related news, the two episodes of NCIS that aired right before RAW both drew 3.1 cable ratings, so Raw had a very strong lead-in. The National Champion NCAA game also went head-to-head with RAW.
This week on RAW, Vickie Guererro announced that she would be leaving her post as SmackDown General Manager to take over WWE’s Monday night show. As a result, the SmackDown GM position was vacated. On last night’s ECW, Theodore Long announced that he will be the new SmackDown GM. Meanwhile, Tiffany has been promoted to the position of ECW general manager. As for who will be replacing Tazz as Jim Ross’ announcing partner on SmackDown, Todd Grisham called SmackDown with JR at last night’s TV tapings. Grisham, who previously called ECW with Matt Striker, was replaced on ECW by Josh Mathews.
