WWE will be part of a new initiative announced by YouTube featuring 100 different channels to compete with TV providers by creating professionally-produced shows for channels on the site. The content will be created exclusively for YouTube. YouTube spent $150 million in advances, with a maximum of $5 million going any individual channel (such as WWE).
YouTube will receive as much as 55 percent of ad revenue from the entities.
