The Rock Draws Ratings?, SD Taping Attendance, Shorty Awards

— As the WWE SmackDown tapings last night, the lower bowl of the Key Arena was largely full and most of the upper section was tarped off. Attendance was estimated at 9,000.

— The Rock, John Cena, Kelly Kelly, CM Punk, Zack Ryder and WWE are finalists for the 4th Annual Shorty Awards, the award show for the best of social media.

— As noted before, this week’s WWE RAW Supershow scored a 3.1 cable rating with 4.65 million viewers. Even with The Rock’s return, the rating was down from the week before. The Rock’s return and segment with John Cena at the end of RAW drew the highest rating of the night with a 3.5 overrun rating.
