» Stephanie McMahon recently told Brian Gewirtz and Michael Hayes that she wants them to bring in more writers. They started a search two weeks ago and McMahon reportedly told Gewirtz to reach out to anyone he knew from MTV.
» Head SmackDown creative team writer Michael Hayes has been writing a large portion of CM Punk’s promos, and also recently received a promotion with the company.
» In regards to a report back in May where Stephanie McMahon asked WWE talent to give creative ideas for their characters and how they were more open to suggestions now, that movement doesn’t appeared to have held up as well as hoped with the exception of top guys in the company. We’re told the closest thing to an idea given from talent that was approved by the company was someone being allowed to wear a non-WWE t-shirt with their own likeness on it.
