ROH/Sinclair Update + Live Events, iMPACT! Post Show

— Sinclair Broadcasting, the parent company of Ring of Honor, has agreed to acquire seven TV stations worth $452.5 million. Sinclair is buying six stations from Newport Television covering Texas, Florida, Ohio, Kansas, and Pennsylvania, and those stations reach 3% of the US. Sinclair expects the deal to close by December, which would make ROH TV available in those markets by the end of the year or the start of 2013. Sinclair has also agreed to buy Bay Television, Inc.’s assets covering WTTA-TV in Florida, which is valued at $40.0 million. At this time, there is no timetable on when that deal will close.
