— The Poughkeepsie Journal has an article up on the debut of Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore promotion on October 6th, which you can read here.

— 30 year old independent wrestler Adam W Gooch, who works for the Illinois independent promotion “Strictly Nsane Pro Wrestling”, allegedly struck a fan in the back of the head, busting him open and attempted to flee the scene but was chased down and brought back by local officers. He has been charged with aggravated battery. More information on the story here.

— The CBS show Elementary debuts tonight at 10PM ET and it will feature footage from Ring of Honor. Producers requested a specific ROH clip several months back for the episode, which follows a modern day take on Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.

— The November 11th DGUSA event will take place in Deer Park, Long Island at the NYWC Sportatorium. A site survey of the potential new Manhattan location did not pan out for the promotion. At this time, the company hopes to find a new venue in New York City as they feel that one of the biggest issues for the company is not having one “base venue” to run regularly and build a crowd with.
