Jim Cornette Returns To ROH In NYC – Shoots On Vince Russo

At last night’s show in New York, Jim Cornette returned to Ring of Honor. He will take the role of “Executive Producer of ROH on HDNet.” Cornette then shot an angle with ROH Champion Austin Aries, so he will have an on air role.

Cornette announced to the live crowd that he will be an “executive producer” for ROH. Cornette’s promo shot on midgets wrestling on TV every week as well as Vince Russo, notably saying: “Sarah Palin will give Barack Obama a lap dance on the steps of the capital before I get behind Vince Russo.” There were loud chants of ‘F*ck TNA’ and ‘F*ck Vince Russo’ as well. I was there live and this came off awesome.

Adam Pearce is still the head booker for the company, while Cornette will be an on air character for the ROH on HDNet series. Cornette will also assist backstage with the company, but Pearce will still have the book.
