In a story with The Associated Press, WWE Hall of Famer and former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura teased that he’s considering a 2016 Presidential run.
Ventura claimed that the current political landscape makes it “opportune” for an independent to become President and that he’s reached out to Howard Stern about becoming his running mate.
Ventura added, “The key to this next election I think will be a candidate who doesn’t belong to a political party and who has the ability to rise above the mainstream and get the press, which I’ve never had a problem doing.”
