— As we noted earlier here on the website, Rey Mysterio underwent surgery this week with Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham. According to sources, WWE was upset that Mysterio underwent prior surgeries with Dr. David Chao of San Diego after a USA Today article revealed that two different hospitals in the city have banned him from performing surgery. Dr. Chao had a review conducted by Scripps Memorial and Scripps Mercy Hospitals and ruling that his alcohol consumption led to poor quality of care.
