— The Clearwater Gazette has a new feature story on former WWE wrestler Bushwhacker Luke (aka Brian Wickens). Wickens was encouraged by Hulk Hogan to consider living on the Gulf of Mexico. he then checked out the area, found a gym he liked, and ended up buying the local beach gym.
— Gabe Sapolsky has posted an update on his Facebook page announcing that Dragon Gate USA, EVOLVE, SHIMMER and Kaiju Big Battel are starting their own convention with WWN for WrestleMania weekend. The promotions will not be a part of WrestleCon and instead will be part of “the WWNLive Experience” in April.
The announcement states that “there will be DGUSA, EVOLVE, SHIMMER, Kaiju Big Battle and other shows on Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday in New Orleans on Wrestlemania weekend.” More details will be announced next week.
