Backstage Update – Why John Cena Chose D-Bryan

— According sources, WWE decided to run the John Cena choosing Daniel Bryan angle this week because they wanted to get the SummerSlam main event announced as soon as possible. The original plan was for Cena to choose Bryan after the premiere of Total Divas. The Cena/Bryan storyline heading into the pay-per-view is expected to tie into the show featuring Cena and Bryan’s relationships with The Bella Twins.
