— Brian “Road Dogg” James is now officially part of the WWE creative team as we noted last week here on the website. James had been involved in meetings the last few weeks as they wanted someone with experience in the ring involved at the meetings.
— As noted earlier here on the website, WWE star Rey Mysterio is now undergoing stem cell treatment to regenerate ligaments in his knee under the supervision of Dr. James Andrews. The treatment will allow Mysterio to avoid undergoing major surgery. He is still setting a goal to get back in the ring in around three months.
— Also as noted earlier here on the website, WWE is currently in the beginning stages of for a new weekend long convention that would carry the same kidn of style that the annual San Diego Comic Con convention carries. The report states WWE has interest in running a four day convention in conjunction with the same weekend of a big WWE PPV event.
Markets already under consideration to host the convention includes New York City, Orlando, New Orleans, Los Angeles, San Antonio, Miami, Philadelphia and Las Vegas.
