— Kane vs. Bray Wyatt was confirmed for WWE SummerSlam on this week’s RAW broadcast. The match will be a “Ring of Fire” match. That should be interesting. We’ll likely get more details on what that is during next week’s go-home edition of RAW.
— Also on RAW, it was announced that Cody Rhodes vs. Damien Sandow will take place at WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view.
— Ricardo Rodriguez returned on this week’s RAW. The storyline was that he was “returning from an injury.” Of course, we all know that Rodriguez failed a Wellness Policy test last month and was suspended for 30 days.
During the return, it appeared that he was immediately written back off TV as Alberto Del Rio kicked Rodriguez and beat him with the bucket following a match with Rob Van Dam. Del Rio then threw Rodriguez out of the ring as JBL said “this is what you do when an employee messes up”. Ya’ think?!
