Major Backstage Heat On New WWE Diva

While the storyline regarding Eva Marie lying to WWE officials about her dance background on Total Divas was completely scripted, there is said to be serious backstage heat on the new Diva backstage. She is said to be “passionately hated” by most employees in the company. Maria is reportedly the second-most disliked Diva in the locker room behind Cameron, with a source noting, “Cameron is an idiot, but everyone in the company already knows that so it’s nothing new.”

In addition, the storyline on Total Divas where Stephanie McMahon confronted Marie was said to be legitimate from Marie’s side. While Stephanie was “in character” for the segment, in which Eva Marie was told to meet with her because she’s done something very wrong, Marie’s reaction was legitimate because she thought she was actually in trouble for something. Marie didn’t know that Stephanie was entirely in character.
