Hulk Hogan’s agent Peter Young has reiterated Hogan’s stance that he didn’t signed off on appearing in WWE 2K14. As previously reported, Eric Bischoff had argued that Hogan didn’t sign off on it and that WWE had been utilizing existing rights.
Young claims he made a deal in 2008 with THQ for Hogan to appear in a WWE video game and that 2K Sports picked up the renewal option on Hogan’s contract when they bought the WWE video game license after THQ’s bankruptcy.
WWE 2K14 creative director Cory Ledesma had previously said that the game had to get over the “hurdle” of setting Hogan involved in order to make the “30 Years of WrestleMania” mode possible.
