Backstage Update – Bruno Sammartino At RAW

Bruno Sammartino was not included in the original script for last night’s WWE Monday Night RAW. That is the reason he didn’t appear live. When the segment took place during the commercial break on the WWE App, it received a great reaction and due to that, WWE decided to air highlights when they returned from the break.

Also as we reported late last night here on the website, when Triple H arrived in Pittsburgh, PA yesterday, he made a last minute call to Sammartino to appear live before the Pittsburgh crowd so that they could celebrate Sammartino’s birthday. Sammartino turned 78-years-old on Sunday. Of course, Bruno accepted Triple H’s offer and made the short drive over to RAW.
